Myers-Briggs Personality Type

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is a simple set of four pairs of preferences that you can use to give some idea of your character's personality type. This is not a restriction on how you roleplay your character, it is simple a hint to the GMs as to how your character's mind works (and a tool we can use to help make decisions if needed when resolving turnsheet actions).

Note that we're not using the proper Myers-Briggs Type Indicator; this is a slightly simplified version tuned more for the GMs benefit.

Your character's Myers-Briggs type is a four-letter code, one letter from each of the four pairs of preferences; e.g. ESTJ (Extrovert, Sensing, Thinking, Judging), ISFJ (Introverted, Sensing, Feeling, Judging), ENFP (Extroverted, iNtuition, Feeling, Perceiving)

The Four Preferences

Introverted Extroverted
Sensing iNtuition
Thinking Feeling
Judging Perceiving

Introverted/Extroverted

Is your character more likely to talk freely to people, or will they generally keep information to themselves?

Sensing/iNtuition

Is your character more likely to believe the evidence of their senses, or are they going to trust their intuition more?

Thinking/Feeling

Does your character prefer to think through a problem rationally and examine it carefully from the outside before coming to a decision, or do they prefer to get inside a problem and make a decision based on what feels right?

Judging/Perceiving

Does your character prefer to rely on their thinking/feeling to make quick decisions, or would they rather sense/intuit the situation and wait for the right time to make a move?
