Hatter has been seen chasing up conspiracies for a number of years. A believer in a great number of them, his primary interest lies in the numerous secret societies that litter the world: the New World Order, the lizards, the Illuminati (both new and old), the Council on Foreign Relations, and all the many others. Many of the other popular conspiracies are either the product or unintended side-effect of these secret organisations, and Hatter has been seeking the truth on them all.

He has, however, been somewhat coy about the source of his interest.
